Hi! I’m Ashwin Raghav. I’m a dad of 2, husband of 1, pseudo musician, and lead chef cum barber for my family. But this blog is about building software and software development teams. I’ve been writing code for roughly 20 years and have now run out of excuses to not share my unique ability to oversimplify and overcomplicate things simultaneously.

I’ve learned some things in my tenure at Google, Twitter (Yikes!), Zynga, ThoughtWorks, and a few other companies that don’t feature in my acceptance speech. 

Among other things, I intend for the content to evidence how things got done before the days of ChatGPT. So if you’re reading this in 2101, I hereby solemnly attest that the content here is non-fiction, nor is it alternate history. We really did have to go into a building with desks to get work done.
